Mike’s Cheesesteaks & Roast Pork, is no longer located in Gather GVL. We located and are proudly served at Harry’s Hoagie Shoppe, located at 1700 east North Street, GVL, SC 29607.
Serving L❤️VE on a roll one Cheesesteak, Italian Roast Pork and Hoagie at time, we are simply Better Together. Maintaining the KISS theory, we’ll be Keeping it Stupid Simple with one goal making people Happy with Food. We’ll never claim to be the best or authentic, we’ll claim that we know what we love and truly love what we do; same food, same people, new location, its that simple.
We are thrilled to have been a founding tenant of Gather GVL, but it was time to grow and give a new & unique business idea a springboard to success. We hope the new tenants are blessed with the same growth & success we were afforded. It’s been a roller coaster ride and we were fortunate to have caught lightning in a bottle and experienced the magic at Gather GVL and we wish you all a found farewell.
Mike’s opened on February 18, 2020, closed briefly in March 2020 due to COVID restrictions. As luck would have it, we were located in an outdoor facility, and to quote Michael, “we made the greatest lemonade with the lemons that were dropped” and were able to serve our guests. Those guests became friends and stuck with us through COVID. We built lifelong relationships with our neighbors at GBX & Pasta Addict. However, we were the luckiest to have built our business, with our amazing, kind, most loyal and truly crazy (in a good way) guests ever.
